Now I know what button 0 and 1 are after having to run around by trial and error and figure it out but I'm lazy and would rather be told what to exactly press in. The only reason I'm miffed about it is the actual in game tutorial doesn't tell you what buttons to use exactly (even on just kb+m). I'll just stick to mouse and keyboard for the first 2 games (Both Assassins Creed and Assassins Creed 2 have these problems).
